Join us for food, music, and tattoos as we raise money for the Baltimore Abortion Fund and the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA). You can learn more about these organization on their websites and find more ways to get involved. Bring yourself, any friends who want to support abortion access, and a donation (cash, check or credit card). We're looking forward to seeing everyone!
The Abortion Access Fundraiser will be from 11am -7pm at Lucky Bird Tattoo, 2521 Riva Rd. U2, Annapolis, MD 21401. We will be teaming up with the wonderful staff at LOVE STRUCK TATTOO and we’re really excited to be tattooing alongside such talented artists!
This event will be walk-ins only on a first come, first served basis. There will be plenty of reproductive healthcare and abortion rights themed flash tattoo designs available on the day of the event. Our staff will try to leak some sneak peeks of these designs leading up to the event date but we always love the suspense of curiosity and anticipation! We will do our very best to accommodate as many clients as possible but please keep in mind that we may not be able to tattoo everyone who comes out in support. This event will also be hosting:

Why are we hosting an Abortion Access Fundraiser?
The overturning of Roe v. Wade has amplified attacks on abortion access, but they all are part of a larger trend that these organizations have been resisting for years. If planned abortion restrictions are enacted in nearby states, Maryland will become an even more important destination for care. We are one of the most southern states with the strongest legal protections for abortion access. Our region is also home to two of only four clinics nationwide that perform specialized, later abortion procedures. The number of calls from people traveling to Maryland for care has already increased from 42% of all requests in 2020 to 50% in 2022. And we expect that number will continue to grow.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Baltimore Abortion Fund and MCASA-Maryland coalition Against Sexual Assault.

MCASA supports Maryland sexual assault survivors and their families through programs such as the Sexual Assault Legal Institute (SALI), which offers free legal services, as well as our work to pass tough legislation that holds sexual assault offenders accountable for their crimes.
