We’re excited to celebrate the art of Japanese animation and its global cultural impact at this year’s Anime Tattoo Flashday at Lucky Bird Tattoo.

Our artists will have multiple sheets of anime-inspired tattoo flash designs available on a first come, first served basis from 12:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, April 18th. Designs will be revealed the day of the event — no previews posted in advance.

We’re also thrilled to welcome our good friend and talented tattoo artist Marshall Sinclair from Virginia Beach, along with Ray Rivera from New Jersey, as special guests for the day.

As always, we’ll have a dedicated sheet of flash designs honoring our friends at Third Eye Comics, who will be in attendance from 11:00am – 1:00pm with free comics and goodies. Anyone who receives a Third Eye Comics tattoo will receive 15% OFF FOR LIFE at any Third Eye Comics location.

Fuel up while you’re here — Stony Man Coffee will be serving craft drinks and custom donut holes from 11:00am – 3:00pm.

Comic Book Tattoo Flashday

Superheroes, Villains, and Legendary Tattoos


Join us at Lucky Bird Tattoo on Saturday, April 26th, from 12 PM to 8 PM for a comic book-themed tattoo flashday. This is a walk-in-only event, first come, first served.

We’ll have a selection of DC, Marvel, and other comic book-inspired tattoo designs available on the day of the event, with prices starting at $100. All designs will be created by our talented resident artists at Lucky Bird Tattoo, along with guest artist Marshall Sinclair, who will be joining us for the day. While we won’t be posting designs in advance, keep an eye on our social media for sneak peeks as the event gets closer.

This event is a collaboration with Third Eye Comics, who will be giving away free comics to attendees. We’ll also have a selection of pastries, breads, and pre-made sandwiches from our friends at Ford Artisanal Breads. Join us for a celebration of comics, tattoos, music, and great food!

The 17th Annual Baltimore Tattoo Arts Festival is back, bringing together incredible artists and tattoo enthusiasts! Join us at the Baltimore Convention Center from March 7-9 for three days of world-class tattooing and artistry.

What is Anodizing?

Anodizing is a safe and effective method used on implant-grade metals like titanium to alter their color. Unlike plating or coating, which can wear off and are not suitable for initial piercings, anodizing changes the color of the jewelry permanently. This process involves using an electric current to manipulate the oxide layer on the surface of titanium, resulting in a variety of color options. Anodized titanium is not only durable but also highly recommended for body jewelry due to its hypoallergenic properties, making it one of the least reactive materials available.

Marshall sinclair

We’re excited to host our good friend, Marshall, for his first guest artist appearance at our studio. Marshall is a well-renowned artist from Norfolk, VA, where he is currently tattooing at Black Rose & Dagger Tattoo. He will be joining us from September 19 - 21st and is currently accepting tattoo requests.

Marshall brings years of experience creating custom tattoos that can be traced back to his days as an art teacher. His style showcases a blend of neo-traditional, Japanese traditional, and realism tattooing. Marshall is skilled in both color and black and grey styles, with a particular focus on intricate designs of statue heads and female portraits. Each tattoo is approached as a unique piece of art, emphasizing fine details and vibrant expressions that resonate with individual stories. His expertise in merging various styles ensures that every tattoo not only stands out but also carries a profound significance for the wearer.
