Monday, June 8 - Reopening

Welcome back to Lucky Bird Tattoo!  We are very excited to announce that as of 1:00pm, Monday June 8th we will officially be re-opening our doors! We appreciate all of our amazing clients for your patience during these challenging circumstances and thank you for your support.  Our clients have learned to expect the highest standards and customer service at Lucky Bird Tattoo and we are committed to providing that even during this challenging time.  As we prepare for Monday’s re-opening we ask for a little more patience while we contact and reschedule the multitude of clients with canceled appointments due to the mandated COVID-19 shutdown.

These are very uncertain times. The risks of COVID-19 are still not well understood and there is controversy among the experts on how the virus can spread and difficulty in scientifically determining whether anyone has the virus at any moment in time.  We believe the safest way to handle this situation is to treat everyone, including our staff, as if they could possibly be infected.

Lucky Bird Tattoo has continuously operated in a clean and sterile environment with the health, safety & well-being of our clients, staff and community as our top priority.  With that being said, there will be some additional policies and protocols we must enforce as recommended by the CDC and local health department guidelines to ensure that we are all working together to help reduce the spread of this virus as well as other infectious diseases.

  • We will operate by appointment only, closing our doors to the public to help maintain social distancing and minimizing large gatherings of people.

  • Only clients receiving a service will be allowed in the studio.

  • Temperatures will be recorded daily upon entry of our studio by contactless infrared forehead thermometers for both clients and staff members. Please be advised - sitting in a car without A/C or walking to your appointment in the heat may cause your body temperature to increase. Anyone with a recorded high temperature will be required to reschedule their appointment for the health and safety & well-being of our clients and staff.

  • If you arrive early or there are currently too many clients currently in the studio you will be asked to wait in your car until we can accommodate you.

  • Digital Waivers will be sent via email 24 hours in advance and must be filled out and submitted prior to your tattoo/piercing/mircoblading appointment to help minimize unnecessary surface contact.

  • Any minors (16-17) must properly fill out and submit their Digital Waiver in advance as well as be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian to their scheduled appointment to properly confirm the identification of each party. However, parents or legal guardians will not be permitted in the studio during the client’s appointment in order to properly manage the amount of people in the studio to help maintain social distancing guidelines.

  • All clients must wash hands upon arrival to our studio and after using the restroom, sneezing, or coughing.

  • Face coverings must be worn during the entirety of your appointment by both client and staff.

  • If you have a fever, feeling ill, coughing, have been around someone who is ill or has been diagnosed with COVID-19, have been exposed to large groups of 10 or more people, or are experiencing any other cold symptoms please contact Lucky Bird Tattoo prior to your appointment.

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling/No-Show policy - We will NOT be forfeiting deposits for anyone who feels that they need to reschedule their appointment.  However, if you fail to show up for your appointment or contact our studio prior to your appointment about rescheduling, you will forfeit your deposit.

  • Failure to comply with these policies will result in your removal from our premises and the forfeit of your deposit.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

We are all very excited to return to work and welcome everyone back into our studio.  While we are taking your safety and that of our staff very seriously, by employing new safety and sanitation policies, we cannot guarantee that any of these measures will completely protect you from contracting COVID-19.  You will voluntarily and knowingly assume the risk of exposure to or infection by COVID-19 should you choose to attend your scheduled appointment.  Again, we will NOT be forfeiting deposits for anyone who feels that they need to reschedule their appointment.

If we all work together, we can reduce the spread of this virus as well as other infectious diseases and help return to our normal livelihood.  Thank you for your understanding & cooperation to help keep everyone safe!
