Abortion Access Fundraiser

Join us for food, music, and tattoos as we raise money for the Baltimore Abortion Fund and the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA). You can learn more about these organization on their websites and find more ways to get involved. Bring yourself, any friends who want to support abortion access, and a donation (cash, check or credit card). We're looking forward to seeing everyone!
The Abortion Access Fundraiser will be from 11am -7pm at Lucky Bird Tattoo, 2521 Riva Rd. U2, Annapolis, MD 21401. We will be teaming up with the wonderful staff at LOVE STRUCK TATTOO and we’re really excited to be tattooing alongside such talented artists!
This event will be walk-ins only on a first come, first served basis. There will be plenty of reproductive healthcare and abortion rights themed flash tattoo designs available on the day of the event. Our staff will try to leak some sneak peeks of these designs leading up to the event date but we always love the suspense of curiosity and anticipation! We will do our very best to accommodate as many clients as possible but please keep in mind that we may not be able to tattoo everyone who comes out in support. This event will also be hosting:

Voter Registration and public policy education and advocacy by the League of Women Voters of Maryland

Why are we hosting an Abortion Access Fundraiser?
The overturning of Roe v. Wade has amplified attacks on abortion access, but they all are part of a larger trend that these organizations have been resisting for years. If planned abortion restrictions are enacted in nearby states, Maryland will become an even more important destination for care. We are one of the most southern states with the strongest legal protections for abortion access. Our region is also home to two of only four clinics nationwide that perform specialized, later abortion procedures. The number of calls from people traveling to Maryland for care has already increased from 42% of all requests in 2020 to 50% in 2022. And we expect that number will continue to grow.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Baltimore Abortion Fund and MCASA-Maryland coalition Against Sexual Assault.
BAF is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and practical support to all people who live in or travel to Maryland for their abortions. Learn more at baltimoreabortionfund.org.
MCASA supports Maryland sexual assault survivors and their families through programs such as the Sexual Assault Legal Institute (SALI), which offers free legal services, as well as our work to pass tough legislation that holds sexual assault offenders accountable for their crimes. AACPL Flash Tattoo Fundraiser
SATURDAY, JUNE 25th
The public library has always helped us grow and expand our knowledge to become the artists we are today. On Saturday, June 25th we are putting together a Flash Tattoo Fundraiser to help give back to the Anne Arundel County Public Library in support for all the great things they provide to our county and community!
From 11am-7pm we are offering AACPL inspired and literary-themed walk-in Flash Tattoos designed by our artists at Lucky Bird Tattoo on a first come, first served basis. Designs will be ready to view on the day of the event in store. We will try to release as many sneak peeks of the designs in the week prior so clients can get a small taste of what they will be coming in for. In addition to the flash tattoos, we’ll also have:
Food Truck from 11a-4p catered by Bullhead Pit Beef
Custom Lucky Bird Tattoo temporary tattoos (for those a little hesitant for the real thing!)
Raffle tickets for Lucky Bird Tattoo gift cards and merchandise
Live music from 11a-2p by Dominic Fragman

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Anne Arundel County Public Library and we all appreciate your support and interest in our Flash Tattoo Fundraiser event!
We have all been blown away by the response we’ve already started to receive and we want everyone to know that we’ll do our very best to accommodate as many clients as possible. With that being said, there is only so much we can do in 8 hours so we might not be able to get to everyone who attends.

LUCKY ISLAND - This Hazy Triple IPA was brewed in collaboration with Lucky Bird Tattoo & Piercing Studio in Annapolis, MD & Black Flag Brewing Company in Columbia, MD. This 10.1% ABV hazy brings big tropical vibes to your spring. Utilizing Citra, Citra Incognito, Mosaic, and Julius hops there is a rush of citric island fruit on the nose to help balance out the larger boozy body.
We’ve teamed up with the crew at Black Flag Brewing Co. and are releasing a collaboration beer, Lucky Island TIPA, this April 23rd!! We can’t say enough great things about this brewery and their staff. They’ve been so welcoming and accommodating from the very beginning and we are super excited to being releasing a beer with them. FRIDAY, APRIL 22 - LBT X BFBC TATTOO FLASH DAY @ Lucky Bird Tattoo
This will be our first WALK-IN TATTOO FLASH DAY since March 13, 2020!!! We are extremely excited to be getting back to basics with this flash day and we hope you all are too!
Walk-in tattoos only on a first come, first served starting at 11am. No appointments.
Designs will be a lot of Black Flag Brewery inspired art - hops, skulls, brews, & Final Fantasy VII! Sneak peeks will be leaked on social media leading up to the flash day but just like any good party - you’ll have to come out on the day of to see what designs we have available!
All clients receiving a tattoo that are 21+ will receive a free 4pk of our collaboration beer (at completion of your tattoo)!! Any clients under 21 will receive a free collaboration beer T-Shirt!
Staff from Black Flag Brewery will have a booth selling merchandise, promotional items, and information about their brewery.
No alcohol will be sold at this event. No alcohol is to be consumed on store premises.

Our Tattoo Flash Day will be a little different this year as we are making adjustments based on our COVID-19 policies and safety guidelines. Instead of doing appointments on a walk-in, first come-first served, basis - we will be booking by appointments only on the 4th & 5th.
Our flash tattoo designs are Star Wars / Mandalorian themed and we have partnered the event with Third Eye Comics! This is Third Eye’s 13th year anniversary and they’ll be providing the event with some fun giveaways and promotional items! Make sure you visit their store and celebrate with them their 13 years of business and comics!
We also have a Limited Edition, Mandalorian Bird enamel pin for sale to coincide with the event! These Bird pins will be available in-store and online. Don’t miss out as we will only be making a limited amount!

Jeffy is returning from Florida where he worked for a few years with his close friends at Wunderland Tattoo in Gainesville, Fl and we are thrilled to have him back.
From black work and illustrative realism to pop culture and many other styles in between, Jeffy loves making each tattoo special because every tattoo is important to the person getting it. Wether you are looking to get a beautiful floral piece or a colorful neo-traditional tattoo, Jeffy will be sure to give you a tattoo that will last a lifetime.
